Reed Enger is a graphic designer and printmaker, misguidedly trying to synthesize a childhood among the mists and falling buildings of the northern Minnesota through sculpture.

The Islands strive to deflect entropy. Compiled from railways and battleships, earth movers and factories, they were birthed in the gallery, but slipped away - noiselessly crossing rivers and clearings in the woods, migrating with the dignity of the unwatched.
